North Side Christian Health Center accepts most major medical, dental, and behavioral health insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, and many commercial insurance plans.
If you have questions about your coverage, are unsure which services are included in your plan, or do not see your insurance provider listed below, please contact us before your appointment. Our team can help you understand your benefits and what to expect when you receive care.
Patients with high co-pays or other financial barriers may also qualify for our Sliding Fee Discount Program. Please see below for more information.

North Side Christian Health Center is not a free clinic and does not provide free care. However, as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we are committed to ensuring that no patient is denied care because of an inability to pay. We offer affordable rates and can work with patients to establish payment arrangements when needed.
If you do not have insurance, you may qualify for our Sliding Fee Discount Program.

To receive the correct discount, please submit your application before your first visit. Non-emergency visits will be scheduled once your application is approved.

North Side Christian Health Center welcomes all patients, regardless of insurance status. Our Sliding Fee Discount Program provides discounts on medical, dental, and behavioral health services based on household size and income. The program helps make care more affordable while ensuring that patients are not denied services because of an inability to pay.
To apply, you must complete the Sliding Fee Application Form and Income Affidavit Form and provide documentation of your gross annual household income. Gross income includes income from all sources and from all immediate family members living in your household, before taxes or other deductions.
Additional fees may apply for medical laboratory services, prescriptions, and certain dental procedures.
Acceptable Proof of Income
Three (3) consecutive pay stubs or 1099 forms
Previous year's federal tax return or W-2 form
Documentation of other income not reported on an IRS tax return

Good Faith Estimates
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your care. You may request an estimate for the total expected cost of scheduled services at least three (3) days before your appointment.
For questions, please call 412-321-4001 and ask for the Billing Department. For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit the CMS No Surprises Act information.

North Side Christian Health Center helps patients navigate health insurance options and available coverage. Our Social Services Team provides confidential, free, one-on-one assistance with insurance applications, renewals, and questions about coverage.
Our team includes a Certified Pennie Assister who helps with applications for medical and dental coverage through Pennie, Pennsylvania's Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace. Assistance includes comparing plans and understanding coverage options.
Assistance is also available for initial applications and renewals for state programs, including:
Medical Assistance for Workers with Disabilities (MAWD)
Medical Assistance (MA/Medicaid)
Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
Medicaid for Children with Special Needs (PH95)
