Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh once again delivered vital care to individuals with limited access to dental, vision, and hearing services. The free, two-day clinic—held Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center—served a record-breaking 2,081 patients over the two days, with many people receiving care for the first time due to lack of insurance. Over 1,800 volunteers assisted, both professional and non-professional. With no insurance or eligibility requirements, the event ensured that anyone seeking help could receive essential services at no cost.
North Side Christian Health Center played an important role throughout the clinic. Dr. Lucia Covato, NSCHC’s Chief Dental Officer, provided free dental treatment and connected patients to NSCHC for follow-up care, extending the event’s impact long after it ended. NSCHC also hosted an information table to share details about its medical, dental, and behavioral health services with attendees.
The Three Rivers Alliance of Community Health Centers participated as well, offering information on local Federally Qualified Health Centers, including:
Centerville Clinic
Community Health Clinic
Cornerstone Care Community Health Centers
Primary Care Health Services
Squirrel Hill Health Center.
Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh continues to show what is possible when communities come together to remove barriers to care and support the health and dignity of every person.
