Chief Executive Officer

Bethany Blackburn serves as the Chief Executive Officer of North Side Christian Health Center (NSCHC), where she leads the organization’s mission to provide high-quality, compassionate healthcare to the community. A dedicated advocate for community health resources, Bethany also serves as the President of the Three Rivers Alliance of Community Health Centers (TRACHC), a non-profit dedicated to supporting regional health centers and expanding care access.

Civic & Community Leadership

With a deep commitment to public service and regional development, Bethany has served on the Hampton Township Council since 2018, where she currently holds the position of Council Vice-President. Throughout her tenure, she has championed critical infrastructure improvements, regional connectivity projects, and enhanced community services. Her ongoing priorities include developing interconnected community pathways and establishing a new, state-of-the-art public safety facility for local fire and EMS services. She is also the Vice-Chair of Shaler-Hampton EMS Board of Directors, Council Liaison with the Depreciation Lands Museum and served as a Girl Scout leader for 12 years.

Bethany began her career as a Peace Corps volunteer with a rural health clinic in Côte d’Ivoire, followed by three years as a municipal budget analyst in Santa Clara, CA. She holds a degree in economics from Smith College and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Washington University in St. Louis - bringing a strong foundation in financial stewardship and strategic planning to her executive leadership.

Outside of her professional and civic commitments, Bethany resides locally with her husband and three children, and is a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
