NSCHC Recipient of $367K Grant

North Side Christian Health Center (NSCHC) is honored to receive substantial grant funding of $367,000 from the Richard King Mellon Foundation for 2024. These funds will be used to address the unmet need of the underserved communities we serve.

The Richard King Mellon Foundation approach to health and well-being is rooted in a conceptual framework called the Social Determinants of Health. The foundation’s focus is placed on chronic conditions, mental and behavioral health, and maternal and child health.

NSCHC offers medical, behavioral health, and dental services to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay. Our clinic serves patients of all ages, from infants to senior citizens. Motivated to live our Christian principles, the mission of NSCHC is to provide whole-person primary healthcare to underserved persons on the Northside and surrounding neighborhoods. We envision a community where people of all backgrounds are actively engaged in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. NSCHC is committed to continuing our work to serve those most in need. The funds from this grant will enable us to do just that.
