As part of our whole-person approach, the Health Center offers patients the opportunity (if they so desire) to receive prayer at each appointment.
How do I see a doctor at NSCHC?
You must make an appointment to see the doctor. There are no walk-in appointments. You should arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment so that the medical assistants can have you ready to see the physician. Bring your insurance card (or proof of income), co-pay, and medications. If you are late, you may be asked to reschedule.
I don't have insurance. Can I still see at doctor?
Yes. NSCHC welcomes patients without insurance. Click here for more information.
What types of insurance does NSCHC accept?
We accept all health insurance coverages. Click here for more information.
How much does a regular visit cost?
If you have health insurance, you may be charged a small co-pay. Please call our front office to find out the rates set by each insurance company.
If you do not have insurance, your fees will be determined by a sliding-fee scale based on your income level. Typical charges are between $10 and $40 dollars. Please ask to meet with our Patient Advocate for fee counseling.
What should I do if I can't make my appointment?
The Health Center has a strict no-show policy. If you cannot make your appointment for any reason, please call the front office. Your appointment can then be given to someone else who may otherwise have to wait days to be seen. "Do unto others..."
